      Every country has it's pros and cons. The King is very much loved and respected by all most all of Thailand so his passing it's very close to home for the majority of the Thai's. If you followed any of the news, you will see how much love and respect the Thai's have for their King. You have to understand that the Thais view the king in a prestigious manner, so of course they're going to take however much time they want to mourn over someone so special for them and their country.
