shampoo
did it:1/ download and install avisynth 2/ open your script editor (bloc notes) copy and stick: #ASYNTHER DirectShowSource DirectShowSource("your file") for me #ASYNTHER DirectShowSource DirectShowSource("E:\dum 5.wmv") save it under "the name you want.avs" 3/ now open your .avs file with virtualdub 4/ encode like you use to. what the? where is the script editor? okay so I try using notepad since I have no idea what script editor is. so for this part #ASYNTHER DirectShowSource DirectShowSource("your file") do we put ("C:\mia luang.wmv\) ????? It just doesn't work after I save the document as .avs. Virtualdub said it cannot be open. Edited March 7, 2009 by shampoo
teptida
it doesn't work because it's not ("C:\mia luang.wmv\") but ("C:\mia luang.wmv") notepad=script editor

Sunny
I was able to make subs and logos before but now I've forgotten everything lol
aikoden
I'm not as high tech when it comes to encoding LOL.. I HATE CONVERTING MY VDO FILES! so thank goodness this worked, I was searching around the forum for this because I was like I swore I read posts about this here from noiki & teptida... whooo and thank goodness I found it hehe I can time and make the subs with subtitle workshop.. but I don't know the encoding process much on virtual dub.. I can't edit the fonts to make them located at the bottom or resizing them etc.. so right now I'm using a program called videopad.. but it's not that great either.. why can't there be a simple program that encodes all kinds of vdo files? why.. why must you do this to me? hehe why must you lower my vdo quality afterwards too.. neverrrrrr as for logo, I tried using VD, but my logo comes out pixelated.. maybe I'll try noiki's method.. hehe.
